Perth is hot as F*** at the moment.

Best was 13.48 @ 106mph with conservative launches as no backup car aquired yet.
Ony did 3 runs.

No boost for first 30 meters.....sux! 20.5psi max at present too.

Learnt that the auto and fuel get waaay to hot. Need to reposition some bits to help.

Will go again with more favourable weather and hopefully not snap a diff.

Good fun though!

Why didn't it have boost for the first 30m?

Far too hot so did not want to spool until later in rpm after half an hour soaking heat in the staging lane.

With a good launch 106mph equates to 12.9sec 1/4 time.

Got to go later in the season when it's cooler and stall the auto to 2900rpm.
Hopefully that will help it get on boost sooner and closer to where should be.

Plus I need it as my daily so had to have a little mercy.

Yeah, biggest issue was getting third with out the pitch stop mount, better tyres would help too.

Autos are lazy ha ha

Well the new Y and 2.25 inch pipes and mufflers went on yesterday.

Much nicer for day to day use.

Just that little more subdued = refined.

Single oval tips better suit the rear too

Will get some pics up soon.

Torque up at lower rpms.

New Y pipe, new rear muffs and new tips Benny.

Noise down no drone, and looks better as below

To paint the mufflers black or not....????

Replaced my K&N pod with a dry type pod filter.

Also wrapped some of my headers after the collector and blocked off the Pod filter from the engine bay.

So sick of cleaning the maf to keep cruising smooth!

So....., cleaned MAF, reset ecu, idled for 10 mins and went for a drive, sitting on cruise control beautifully and smoothly now.

Spools faster and does 4 wheel slides out of corners........much more easily.... :D :D

Just say NO to oiled filters when running a MAF!!!!

Took a wrx owner for a spin, he was very surprised.....heheh.

Would like to go for another 1/4 run now the MAF is all better.

Gotten rid of my K&N too J after our discussion the other day, HKS hybrid is on it's way ;)

Sounds like you're finally starting to iron out some of the kinks in the car.

Looking forward to getting mine up and running and coming down for a 1/4 time with you :good:

Yep getting rid of the niggles is a good sense of achievement!
Let me know when you are going down for a run I'll meet you then we'll cruise there.
