Hey guys.

Didn't really like the silver surrounding the dash facia, shifter etc so I pulled it off, bought some Vinyl Wrap today from a local store and wrapped it, I think it turned out pretty good for my first ever attempt at this so I'm pretty happy. Let me know what you think. Sorry for the happy snap style photos...

Also, does anyone know if you can remove these silver bits from the door trims?

Looks like you did a good job with the vinyl wrap, they are tricky buggers! Was it easy getting the pieces off the dash? However, I still prefer the way the original interior contrasts.

Nice work.

You cant remove the door handle trim. The tabs are plastic welded in.

I just did the handles and the front section of the trim. Nice to leave some silver for a contrast.

Contemplating doing this to my car, but undecided.

Mark, thoughts? Will it suit my mod theme or not.
Also how much would you charge to do it for me, I CBF learning and making mistakes before I get it right

Thanks, yeah the corners were very tricky but the girlfriends hairdryer got a work out! Nope, the pieces came off easy as pie, just went really steady and applied minimum pressure and they popped off no worries.

Ah bugger, thought this might be the case, I might steal your idea and just do the handle itself and leave the remainder silver...Thanks

You'd be fine doing it yourself, very easy to do, just take your time and be patient with the corners

I've never thought about CF-wrapping the Lib, but what Mark did looks good.... tempting!

I played with it before, very easy to apply need a heat gun though

Looks alright though, but too much I think.

The bottom piece had a few small scuff marks that annoyed me so decided to wrap it. At least it won't get anymore and I can peel it off anytime

Fair enough, looks like a very neat install. Is that all 1 piece on the AC section?

All 3 pieces was done in 1 piece and then cut up so that the weave would line up, hard to do but was worth it.

I've only covered up parts on the old celica that was chipped, cracked or rusted. Defintely have to line up the lines, otherwise its look off.... its even worst when its been applied wrongly and the lines intersect at right angles

looks awesome! I wonder what a dark woodgrain would look like

Its a personal choice. Ive removed all of mine now and I prefer it that way.

Its good that you can do it cheaply and if you dont like it just peel it off.

It really is easy to do. I could just show you how and you could then do what parts you wanted. Aaron also is good at it.
