You bought Fletch's wheels?

Very nice wheels if so.

Nah.. I agree they are nice wheels having seen them in person numerous times, and decent price. I personally am not a fan of the dish and colour though.

Why do you hate Takumas Mark?

I understand your opinions on Rota's (even if they're fine for street use IMO) but from what I've heard from members they are still a quality wheel?

Mark doesn't 'hate' them, I think he generally prefers reputable/original wheels over cheap/replica wheels.. That's my understanding anyways.

Dislike*, poor choice of words with hate.

I was just wondering if there were any general issues with Takuma's to cause his dislike.

I dont "hate" them, just for the price, for a few more dollars you can get a far better quality wheel.

Just a few things like very poor quality centre caps and stickers stuck on spokes just doesnt sit right with myself. Dont even start on multistud fitment. :bad:

I just paid $1350 for a set of brand new 18 x 8 +45 Enkei's from the USA to my door. Far from expensive for high quality wheels.

+1
I don't think I could live with multi-stud ever and I don't like stickers on pretty much anything to do with my car.

Out of curiosity though, why the high opinion of Koya?
I mean I like a few of their wheels and they have great customisable sizes and I have considered buying them myself, but they seem seem to be also copying other company designs (like pretty much everyone else), which you have spoken out on in the past.

I would still consider buying Koya in future if people's experiences with them have been good, and I would regard your opinion considering your vast experience with so many different wheels :)

Although if I could get Work's for a similar price (and I think I could) I would most likely do that instead.

Ive had 2 sets of Koya's and the quality is of a high standard.

Every wheel manufacturer has similar design wheels to others in almost every brand, even high quality ones and they also have their own designs. Then there's brands that just do copies.

I'll always have my opinions and theyre just that, mine. Its a public forum and as such we're all free to voice our opinion. :D
