I was waiting for someone to say that. I managed to snap 2 wheel studs on the one wheel, not sure if my tiredness was to blame or cheap (read: crappy) wheel nuts was the cause. Running 4 nuts on each side on the front atm until my new nuts arrive. Already replaced the studs.

Yeah I am planning on doing something about the raised lettering, probably just paint over it. Those centrecaps are not held on very well at all so will be sorting that out too. Any ideas on something to put in their place?

They are definitely decent bang for buck wheels so I'm happy the way it turned out. The fitment + overall design/look of the wheels really sets the car off if you ask me.

Wheel nuts are only supposed to be done up to 110nM! How people snap studs is beyond me. :?:

Id just get some black gloss enamel paint and paint over the silver with a fine brush. Wont be too hard at all.

Centre caps, dont know. Whats underneath? Just black plastic cap? Transformer badges work for Jake.

Not sure hey. I don't torque them I just do them up hand tight with the stock wheel wrench from the boot pouch. I have a torque wrench so maybe I should start using that.

The first one got stuck as it was the last one to come off the wheel, so I put 2 adjacent to it to flatten the wheel (hand tight with no tool) and it was stuck so snapped it. Then upon removal of the finger tightened nuts one of them jammed and snapped also (I was pretty annoyed at this stage)

Not sure probably just a plain white cap. might just paint that black too :)

Looking good mate, I do agree that the photos dont do the rims justice.
Of the group buy you are the first to put them on.

Which wheel nuts did you end up getting

Thanks Craig.

Not sure really, just went to the tyre shop and was assured that they are top quality nuts. Would have bought online but don't have time to wait (running only 4 nuts on the wheel isn't ideal)

Well the crappy covers on the centre caps just came right off, I'm actually surprised they didn't just fall off, that's how poorly they are attached. Revealed a plain silver plastic centrecap underneath, which I'll probably spray satin black.

Now everyone can see my missing wheelnut :(

I thought they looked a little bit cleaner and more consistent than stock, or that maybe you just scrubbed them every week or something :P

Paint the centre cap a close match to the wheels and leave it. It'll look neat and better than having no centre cap or the original silver one.
