Hey guys,

This is my first post on the forum, so fingers crossed all goes well :D

I've got a Gen IV 04 2.5i. Spent the best part of the last 12 months trying to get her to the point where I am happy, mind you I dont think I will ever get there :S

So I will begin with the exterior mods. This list is possibly the shortest only because of the unfortunate nature of not being able to get too many extra kw's out of the N/A liberty's, so most of the mods I have made have been more or less for aesthetics

Exterior
8000k HID headlights
Ultrex Rear Defuser
Fatlace illest badge (for those extra couple of kw's)

The Audio side of things was definitely what i focused on when modding the car. For me it was the most important thing as I am a huge fan of my music. So as you can see thats where 75% of my money was spent.

Interior/Audio
Clarion NX501 Headunit
Boston Acoustic SR60's with tweeters Front and Rear
Audison Bit One signal processor
Rockford Fosgate T600-4 Amplifier
Rockford Fosgate 10 Fahrad Hybrid Capacitor
Rockford Fosgate T1500-1 Monoblock Amplifier
2 Rockford Fosgate T1 15 inch Subwoofers in custom sealed box
2x 200 amp ANL Fuse + 300 amp fuse
Optima Yellow Top D35 battery
0 Gauge wiring and 4 gauge wiring

The car obviously needed to sit/sound/ride as good as they look, so I did spend some money on the other obvious parts.

Mechanical
Lenso Eurostyle 6 18's with Nitto NT555 rubber - 225/40/18
BC Racing BR series coilovers
Borla Replica Headers and Xforce catback exhaust with custom pipework to pair the 2 together.

In a week or so i should be getting the Ultrex RS Flat Black 18x8 wheels to put on and that should be all I will do to this car... until I get off my P's, then onto a liberty GT :)

Hope you guys like it.

Car looking good, and those ultrex wheels will look. I have them in gold.

Now question regarding fitment of diffuser, well for starters how did u find the quality of it? Second how well did it fit? What did you use to fit it, because I have one but haven't put it on yet. Did a test fit and it didn't seem to good.

Anyways cars looking great and can't wait to see the new wheels :)

thanks for the feedback,

yeah the illest badge was originally just a joke with a mate but never got around to removing it, one day it will see the bottom of the bin.

the number plates, much to peoples surprise, is actually my last name with my first initial (my name being nick starr). Naturally everyone assumes im being arrogant and thinks its 'stairing' or 'staring' or something like that. who would of thought custom plates would actually have a real meaning...

To the wheels, they are only on atm because i wanted to give the new tyres a run before i got the new wheels delivered.

In regards to the defuser, i did the test fit and it all seemed to fit sweet straight out of the box, so i can't imagine you will have an issues with it. The only thing i don't like about it is the it kind of just stops as it curves under the car. It would have been nice if it smoothed over and moulded to the underside of the body. Quality wise, it all seems okay. I have had it on now for a few months and it hasnt really shown any signs of fatigue as of yet. I didnt bother to paint the defuser because i thought it would look okay in the colour that it came in. All i used to fit it was just a water resistant sealant, and some masking tape to make sure it didnt move whilst drying. havent had to touch it up since.

Wheels should be getting picked up by TNT on the 24 of jan (today) so hopefully ill see them by tuesday next week

Amazing how much of a difference can be made just with rims.
I honestly laughed at your car the first time I saw it, looked like a typical P plater car with no style. Now it looks very nice with the different rims. And getting rid of that stupid Illest badge ;)

Hhahaha thanks guys, yeah i know i had to do the whole typical P plater thing. Otherwise it would of been a whole part of life I would of missed out on :)

Deffuser sits awesome now and i think it looks even better in the flesh. I definitely recommend it if your interested in one.

I have been looking at them! It's the raptor kit right ? unfortunately when I got my car i bought it off a family friend because that way i knew the cars history. And alas it was the 4 speed auto. I dont know too much about the SC kit or the auto box, but I was under the assumption that the auto box wouldnt be able to handle the SC kit?
