Looking good mate.

legacydan wrote:lovely car mate, what wheels and tires are they? Looks well. How do you find the KW coilovers over bumps/crappy roads etc? I was going to go with new Bilsteins and H&R springs but always liked the Kw V2 coilovers

Thanks!

Wheels are Work CR Kiwami 18 x 8.5 +47 in AHG Bronze
Tyres are 235/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE003.

I find the KW's really good for every day driving, not too bumpy or crash at all. I've not done any track work with them but when I go out for a fun drive they're probably superior to my driving skill anyway so they work well for me

Suits the car really well. Also are they standard front splash guards? My car is missing something now since i removed the front aero spats!

I been tossing up 8" or 8.5" as id prefer 8.5" for 235/40 just haven't been bothered to measure how much room i actually have to work with and dont really want to run much camber if any. Havent done any track days yet so no real need at this point

8.5" or even 9" is achievable with the right offset. Wouldn't be going lower than +42.

Looking good Ain!

Thanks all,
Rears are rolled only due to the ridiculous inner lip, the wheels actually fit comfortably inside the rear guards. Front come close with the stock camber bolts near their max but I have had no scrubbing and sit reasonably low. I have Whiteline camber/Caster tops that are being installed when I get the alignment (I don't use the car during the week at all)

They are the stock splash/mud guards. :)

Rears will fit easy with just a guard roll. Fronts may JUST squeeze in, but will most likely need a bit more camber than stock adjustment allows through camber tops of some sort. That set-up will sit 2 mm further out than mine and it's pretty close

I run these specs but with 225s instead of 235. The little bit of stretch helps them fit in the guards a bit better, if you run 235 you would definitely need guards rolled and probably a little bit more camber.

I think it's awesome, I wish I had've thought of it! It just gives off this vibe that the car is restless and always wanting to go. It's hard to explain just one of those things haha
