Had my Hi-tech TBE installed today. Much less drone than the one i had, a lot quieter basically.

The main thing ive noticed is a lot more induction noise. Is this normal after installing a dump pipe or is it because the hi-tech dumps have the split wastegate pipe or something?

Didnt actually notice any gain in power, just feels a lot smoother when i put my foot down.

Hows the tune mate? Happy with it?

Next time I'm down I'll have to come for a rip, that way I'll know what I'm looking at when I get my tune.

its glorious.

i thought this talk of tunes being magical was a bit hit and miss. doesnt help that my car had a broken intercooler grommet so i was already leaking boost anyway. so brokenish to tuned. HUGGGGEEE difference.

biggest difference to feel is the 05 sti throttle map mick said he put in. feels like it wants to go at all times.

So which ones?

Aslo, for an 18x8.5 + 44 what size tyre is the best choice for a car thats lowered on kings. Ive seen a few guys running 235-40's. Whats the biggest i could go without scrubbing. I would roll the guards if i have to but id rather i didnt have to.
