Nice and neat. :good:

Keep the grill, (the black is nice on white)
Add the STi lip
paint current wheels charcoal/satin black to match.

WIN! :D

So the bilsteins went in this arvo, started at 5:30 after work and was finished by 8:30 so not too bad timing doing all of it myself for the first time. Id say ive had a decent amount of practice on the spring compressor *piece of stupid flippin junk* now, but hopefully i wont have to use it again soon.

Now please nobody be offended, but compared to my clearly broken kyb struts, Bilsteins + Kings = COMFIEST THING EVER !!!!!... now i know theyre not, but my car actually has response when turning again, and i can actually feel the difference phats lca bushes have made. I just have to wait for them to settle in for a bit i think.

I definately notice the higher front everyone talks about. but thats just more of an excuse to get the sti front lip :)

Next mod is the dump pipe. cant wait for that.

As per marks suggestion, rims have now been painted. i am much happier with the new colour.

However, i have painted them myself, and overall im not super happy with the finish but that my own fault. It was a long and tiring learning experience. The biggest thing is dont go off how much paint other reccomend if you have spokey rims... you need a lot more.

Anyway thought id put up some pics to see what you guys think with before and afters, let me know anyway.... makes me want the front lip even more now, it really is 'missing' it without one.

Also this is how the car now sits with billies and kings.

Thanks for the idea mark, it was a much cheaper alternative than buying new ones just to get the right colour.... for the time being anyway.

I think ive still got a long way to go to get it to how i want it though.

Thoughts on the blue wheel nuts? ive had mixed reviews, i like them though.

Not a fan of the blue wheel nuts, looks cheap on the white for some reason. I would go same colour as wheels.

Needs lowering to make those rims tuck nicely :D

hmm that was my alternative, i was going to get black ones... hmm

Also the car is already lowered on kings, i think in the wheel only pic the car was on a weird lean hence the large gap. the front does sit too high and annoy me a bit though but my only other option is coils and i did just buy new billies...

could it be the rim width offset and tyre size that would make it look like it has a bigger gap than it should? meaning if i eventually buy other rims would going to something like a 225.45 R18 on an 8 or 8.5 wide tyre help much?

Id also go black nuts.

Id only put blue nuts on a set of WORK's to match the valve. :D

Height in the last pic looks normal. Id just say the other pic is a weird angle.

Car looks awesome with the changes Stewart.

Massive change in aesthetics from such a relatively minor mod!

Well done and good luck with the rest of the mods
