Nice one Bruce! :)

They are ! I love the 2009 - 10 model .

Bruce is the 6.7 the same as the older model?

Not sure what you're referring to Newbie.

I ended up buying a 2012 model, same as the current shape as I like the front styling better and the inbuilt GPS/command centre unit instead of the pop up type on the previous model.

There are quite a few tweaks and changes made to the current shape which to me justified the extra cost.

Far as I can tell the 6.7 in 2009 upwards is same power as yours

What's 6.7?

The motor is a 6.2l V8.

Whilst yes peak power is the same. The P31 performance pack in the 2012 onwards has forged crank, pistons, rods etc off the SLS AMG.

The gearbox has been tweaked for better shifts and the older model did not have launch control or S+. The economy is also reportedly better.

There are a heap of minor differences both cosmetic and mechanical that makes the My12 onwards model better. It's reflected in resale values.

The kerb weight is 1730kgs as compared to the lib at 1545kgs.

It's pretty close in dimensions to the lib too which I like.
