Too many years of not having them means I instinctively go for the console without thinking.
Although they are good for when someone in the passenger seat thinks they should be in control of the console.

Posted: Sat Jun 09, 2012 8:56 pmI like the steering wheel controls and pretty much only use them and nothing else. I would like a mute button on the steering wheel of my car just to save me reaching over and turning of the stereo at the volume knob. On my MY10 forester with the stock radio has a mute button and hence got a little used to it.

I have to disagree cruisn, If current model STI wheels had the same PCD I'd definitely be looking for a set. Manufacturers usually have great wheel designs, great quality and they're dirt cheap second hand!
