the previous owner did say he was getting pissed off that the cooler pipes kept blowing off so the welded nuts on the joins and have wire holding them together lol



given above i may know who the first builder was as this is one of the problem they where having , but i need i bit more info before i know 100% so ill keep ready this post

car is not running so well..... its down on boost down on power and torque, boost is dropping off at high rpm... the good power runs are from when they did the tune a while ago

You should be happy that's a great result ! with 15psi of boost tapering to 12~ . any explanation for the drop?

the blue line is before when the old owner had it the red line is now....
there not sure whats causing the issue but i think its either wastegate issue or blocked cat and possible fuel pump issue as it runs weird sometimes when its cold like its got low fuel pressure, they are checking it out....

Has the tuner confirmed all the parts that were on the car originally are still on the car for this dyno run. This would make me think something has been removed from the time the last owner disposed of the car and you've bought it.

Just checking that this has been covered off.

i emailed them friday around 4 and about 30min ago with no answer as yet, if he doesnt email back by like 1 i will give em a ring

the guy that owned the car didnt know squat about it lol think he just pays the bills and drove the thing lol, its always a risk when buying a car like this one as you never know whats happened..

good news the he emailed me then i rang him, he pulled off the exhaust and its started making power again its not the car but the rear section of the exhuast which are mrt ones from when the car was first built, with the rear section off it made 10kw more than when the had it at the same boost and the boost also came back up, fantasic result so far, once its boosted with a new system it should be good just hope its not too loud lol
