driscoll_86 wrote:Mate I'm liking the caliper colour. I want to do the same on my lib. I think it would look great against my diamond grey paint. The colour looks similar to 'Fusion' like the cv8z monaro. Do you know if that is that name or the same code as it?
Dupli-Color wrote:You will need to use the Metalcast Ground Coat (MC100) first prior to the Metalcast Color Coat. While both of these products can withstand up to 500 degrees F making them suitable for calipers be sure not to apply too much of each. If you apply too much product the film build will be to great and it will crack and peel.
Do not use the Adhesion Promotor (CP199) on your calipers. This product can only withstand up to 120 degrees making it not suitable for use on calipers which get much hotter. You can apply the Metalcast Ground Coat or just the Metalcast Color Coat to the calipers. If you apply just the Metalcast Color Coat spray a test spot first to ensure you are pleased with the results.

Brakes are done, bitch of a finish to get even color due to how thin the color coat is. Had just enough color coat.

The only worry is that all the nice aerosol colours are engine metallics and they don't come anywhere near caliper temp resistances.
