If you can get to D-Chang that would be good. Me and BBB can help you with some cross state troubleshooting.

PMd back Jacob! :) yep hopefully will get some feedback soon!
Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!

Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Happy to help out again too Jacob if needs be.

Sounds like a shit of a problem you're having!
My surging in I-mode went when I loaded the 3rd of the tunes through from Matt. He may suggest loading that one on for you.

As said though, logs will be the best option to truly understand the problem.

Good luck :good:

I actually went through the logs from our tuning session and the OCV issue was present, subtle but there. NEVER have seen it in the auto but hey, there is a first for everything

Boostaddict would attest to how much it can affect the low rpm as well. It affects fuel trims and spool region drastically!

I guess you can say the car is possessed and we really need to excise the demons!

Hey if I'm the first auto with it then at least we can say it spreads further than we thought! Thanks for jumping in Matt, I'll get another log done this saturday and I'm going to fire off an order to celtic for the OCVs. The demons are driving the car at the moment not me! And it seems they like to drive with a foot on each pedal (at least that's what it feels like)
Anything else I should look around for? I have some troubleshooting time set aside for the weekend

I've seen a similar problem caused by the electrical connector on the coil pack closest to the dump cracking and the creating a poor contact.

The higher temps in that area cause the plastics to fail.

The fix was to cable tie it on to ensure it stays firmly connected.

Perhaps check that if you haven't already.

Hooray!! Successful log today! Thanks D-Chang! Hopefully a solution will present itself to my problems.

A minor update, new power steering pump on the way so I can FINALLY cross that off my list of things to do. Will also be repairing the front lip a second time soon and will begin work on the rims. Planning on re finishing them in high gloss black and re finishing the brembos in cherry blossom.
