Did you finish the white calipers? Pictures please!
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Hey guys sorry, havnt been on for a while.

Taylor: Yes the middle cat needs to get out. Now. But other than that I'm stoked.

rooby: They stick out a few mm, nothing more. any longer and i wouldn't be thrilled but i reckon they sit a perfect distance out.

Corsair: Brakes will be going on this weekend, I am extremely excited for this :D

Been a while since i updated this.

You could hardly see the calipers behind the spec B wheels so i waited until i got new ones.

I bought Taylor's old CS9s and fitted them on Tuesday, for those not on Facebook:

The small nicks in the paint are annoying me so I'll get another can of white and touch them up this weekend

Taylor took some better photo's with a DSLR so will hopefully get them off him tomorrow or soon.

Next thing is spacers to get the CS9s filling the guards better.

Nice work Liam. :D Could you also post a shot from further away so we can see the contrast?

i know you've probably heard it all before but be careful with spacers, not exactly legal, the popo dont like them either. and it puts a lot of stress on your lug nuts/lug bolts.
if you do, thought about getting longer bolts? or even those bolt on spacers? (not sure how safe they would be)

but all in all...

Great job Liam, but yes, a whole car photo would be great to see the finished product :D

Wide angle shot coming, just need a good clean and nice day/night (Adelaide is dreary as shit at the moment.)

In regards to the spacers and the jacks, half of them dont even know if a wrx is a subaru or a mitsubishi so running 15mm spacers probably wont get noticed.
Im also thinking of running hub centric spacers, like http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEOTECH-SUBA ... 53ed959771, because they dont shorten your bolts like a flat bit of metal would.
I also hear (dont quote me on this) that PHAT runs hub centric spacers on his porsche, so if its good enough for the PHATman . . . :D

All in all though, Im over this car. the severe lack of pace has me frustrated almost all the time so i see myself in a 3RB in the very near future

Stay tuned

Hub centric spacers are still illegal but the only safe way to use a spacer. 90% of mods are illegal though. when I was in sydney last, phat had them on his lib to fit his custom endless 6 pots on the front. Didn't ask about the rear.

Keen on this 3.0L spec b Liam. :).

So updating this thread and my plans in general . . .

The 2.5i is staying. I had the car up for sale for months and had zero interest. I've also drastically changed my career plans from uni to commercial helicopter pilots license which is expensive so i need to spend as little money as possible on my car.

That being said, i have decided to make it look nice so im not entirely disappointed with it over the next year or so :D

On the way and waiting to be fitted include:

HKS Hipermax III coilovers
Tenzo Cusco 18x8 wheels in a super secret colour 8)
Whiteline front and rear swaybars with AVO HD mounts at the rear
Whiteline anti lift kit
WRX 4 pots in a super secret colour 8)
Custom mesh grille
HIDs all around
and finally a customish set of unequal length headers to get a boxer burble happening

stay tuned :D

Thanks guys :D

To say I'm excited would be a massive understatement.

Taylor is as well. He gets to effectively have a fast lib and a stanced lib

Cant wait to post pictures of the new work
