Wow that was a very lucky escape.

That could have seen all sorts of 'bits' everywhere.

I foresee a big fuel system in my car in the near future. I want to avoid paying 1400 bucks for a billet pump/serge tank for twin pumps without pumps in it though.

Just doing a Magnafuel pump with 5L surge tank. 750LPH@60psi rail pressure

Car is now at the limit of the id1300s. I think our work here is done.

One can calculate how much power that is......

43.5 psi.

Maxing out 1300's at 43.5 base pressure should put you around 380awkw with 50kw drivetrain losses and bsfc of 0.7

Bump up to 55psi base pressure and push 400 plus!

I will put a new fuel system in but I don't see the point in chasing more power. It will just be time to tidy it up and enjoy it.
The car doesn't really know what it is any more. So I might sit on my cash and figure out what direction to move in.

That is some serious power. Congrats on getting it all working at the same time!

Bought a process west surge tank fitted with two walbro 460s today. Also bought a perrin fuel rail kit and a good old fashioned Sard regulator. Should hopefully turn up when I get home next week.
Plan will be to just run my in tank walbro 460 as a lift pump.

Update time:
I fitted the PW surge tank and the new regulator, deleting the stock FPR and fuel dampers. Physically fitting the tank was not too hard, it fits quite well. Plumbing it up was slightly more difficult, just required a lot of speed flow and thinking to get it all working.
Put it on the dyno at Coyote Tuning to set the fuel pressure and make sure it was okay. Ran into problems with intercooler piping coming off every time it came onto boost. With that fixed a breakdown was evident at about 6000 rpm. At this point in time I figured it was old plugs.
I replaced the plugs with lfra7x's (or some shit) gapped to 0.6mm. Back on the dyno and it all fell over at 6200rpm, lost spark. We hooked a multi meter up to the alternator and found that it was dropping down to 9.8v. I removed the fuse from one of the new pumps and it only dropped down to 11.5v, with a slight ignition break down. We figured there was too much draw from the pumps, and called it a day.
I did a little research today and will be pulling the blue wire out of the alternator, and clearing the fault code. According to Turboyoda the ecu shuts off the alternator at WOT, and tries to run the show on battery voltage. Thanks everyone for the input on FB the other night too.

Hopefully I can update with more information in the coming days.

Finally got around to playing with the alternator wiring today. Ended up removing the red and black wire, which is the ecu control. Ran it up on the dyno and...it pulled through to redline. Did this 5-6 times to be sure. Tony from Coyote Tuning will be spending a bit of time on in the near future and we shall test the overkill fuel system.

I also cracked the shits with the old Tilton scavenge pump and replaced it with a VDO one. The old one was LOUD, and was leaking about 500ml of oil every 3-4 days. It also smoked on startup a shit load. The VDO pump is quiet, doesn't leak, and doesn't blow smoke, so I am over the moon. I can also hear my stereo again due to the lack of constant pump drone.
