I got up nice an early this morning before the heat to change the NPS. Put the car up on stands and decided not to do the job. I don't have a short 19mm spanner and even if I did I think that I would need to drop the box, which is something I am not willing to do on my own on the garage floor. I will take it up to AMAuto when I get a chance.

Got to know what you can and cannot do.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

the 6MT is heavy as balls. I can barely lift it by myself - you don't want it somewhere difficult to manage, but very easy on a lift with a gearbox jack.

Have you logged the NPS as being faulty?

Anyways this topic needs a recap, preferably updated to the first page :)

Man this thing enjoys costing time and money.
Went to drive to my Parents farm on Christmas day, letting the car warm up in the garage and coolant is just pissing out from underneath. Left it until today, it appears that the water pump has shit the bed. Of all the fiddly fixes.

The actual pump? I'm impressed if it is. Take some pics of the fail.

I am a pedantic bastard. I'll let my car warm up in the garage, then back it into the drive, and inspect the floor for leaks. I'll then quickly mop the floor and drive off. Just a quick way of keeping an eye on what is leaking, and EJ LYFE.

They all interchange, however I would go with a genuine Subaru one if you didnt already. From memory there are two types but for the life of me I can't recall the difference between them.

Cast and stamped wheel. One flows 20% more and is a better design.
