Machine

Great to see it running well.

As much as I like the vids, would love to hear a run down of the day?

Well, the day was a long one. I was out with the Sport Sedan at Queensland Raceway from 8 am. It was the first time out after the full rebuild, and only had a few teething problems. It was going to be entered in roll racing too, but alas, it's head lights are stickers.

The roll racing was great fun. Had a few good runs with the 330rwkw s14, then moved onto other cars. Got hosed off by a fairly stout xr6 turbo, then ran away from the r35 and an xr8.
On the night (and still now) the car isn't running 100%, it is holding a stead 27-28 psi, but it is running super rich. I suspect that after replacing the clutch it has move up in load and subseqently messed with shit. It took me a few runs to realise that if I didn't go to WOT it ran much better, so I ended up rolling into the peddle and keeping the afr at 11.0 on the gauge, could get into mid 20s psi wise doing that, and it flew.

Someone pointed this out to me today, I thought I would share it here. Someone had a go pro in my car at that roll racing thing. Sorry about the fucking woeful 90s angsty teen music. The owner of the footage mixed that in.
Gives you an idea of what my thing sounds like, and how gently I shift gears.

I am considering putting this up for sale.
It won't be sold with rego/road worthy. It will have new tyres and everything else is in order bar the waste gate plumbing. It will get detailed shortly too. Everything that is right and wrong with the car is in the thread, it's fairly warts and all.
It will come with a cowsworth inlet manifold and Perrin fuel rails (not fitted).
It will be running 25-26 psi. So plenty of power.
It's an extensively modified car, so it isn't perfect. If you think this is what you want send me a PM or get in touch on Facebook. If you want to offer a pocket change you can continue to catch the bus.

If it is too much hassle I'll just leave in the shed.
