I lied.
I lied to you all.
Everyone one of you.
Even that idiot who cannot string a sentence together and claims to be a DJ on facebook.

My water pump isn't leaking. It is coming from the top of a rubber hose stopper on one of the 12mm lines that I presume used to run to the oil cooler heat exchanger that I no longer have.

Will be fixed tomorrow.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

Good times.

The engine I bought already had it removed, and used an N/A water pump - it doesn't have the output for the oil heat exhanger.

In 4 weeks time I am moving to Dubai. I am trying to decide what I am going to do with this. Most likely It will end up in the shed at my parents farm, though I am toying with doing the unthinkable and selling it.
I am also entertaining the idea of chucking it in a container and shipping it to UAE, and trying to find a LHD Exiga and raising the troll/sleeper level a little bit. That is obviously a lot of work, and I am going to be very time poor. Realistically I would need to spend some time over there and figure out what is what fuel wise. I don't really need a sensible car as uber/taxis are cheap, and I have a driver to take me to and from work.
The other problem is I really want a Corvette. I have been chatting to a few dealers and expats selling cars about various c6 vettes. C6's can be had for 5k AUD more than a 2006ish 100 series petrol Landcruiser. Stick a cam, pipes and tune into one and away you go. I would need to grow a mullet of course.

Hopped on the dyno again at Tony's today. All of the recent problems were gone and it looked like time to make power.
The car was picking up about 10kw per psi, but at 27 psi the clutch buzzed to redline.
I was hoping to run it at Queensland Raceway's "Saturday Night Roll Racing" and ambush a few punters but that won't be happening. This dyno will be the last outing for the car for a few years I would imagine, as it will be unlikely I will change the clutch tomorrow. Somewhat positive news is that it still drives okay with 18psi (spring pressure) in it, so I won't have to catch the bus for the next 2 weeks until I leave. It also drives quite nicely, Tony managed to clean up some of the bumps in the fueling that were caused by compensation for fuel dampers that had been removed.

I would like to thank everyone who's brains I have picked over the years, and Tony, for actually knowing how to make it all work.

It is a bit of an unfitting end for the Lagacy, but these things happen.

Buuuut it's not the end! Just on hiatus for a while.
You can throw some of that Dubai oil money at it when you come back to Aus too.

Have you found an underground source for bacon yet?

Better have the beer cold when I get there, I mean yeast flavored water……….. Spending 3 days there mid-May, dune bashing in a 1000HP Nissan Petrol and a track day at Yass marina is on the cards.

As a lot of top dollar EXPAT offers are slowly being chopped, many over-paid expats are selling off in a big way to avoid criminal conviction , since it’s a criminal offence to default on payment in Islamic ruled country.
