I'm running 235/40/18's.

I've been told if I want to dump it anymore I should change to 225's.. Which I just don't want to do so i'll try drop it with the 235's first. I initially wanted to try 245's but now looking at how little clearance I have I doubt that's going to work.

keep in mind to check your tyre pressure often if you fail to do so the tyre will run flat and youll end up driving on the wheel.

im running 215/40/18 on my 9" and it has a fair stretch on it. if i run any thing below 38 the air leaks. i usually keep it around 42-44 i avoid any thing lower than 40 cause it drops quick after that...

I know this is a bit late, but just wanted to applaud those wheels! Really good look and really uncommon.
Matter of fact, your whole car is 2.5i perfection. Seriously well done. :ok:
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

dude, that looks incredible! mean as!

i think i need to talk to you - my project is to get Rays Volk TE37 SL's on my wagon - 18x9.5 +22. or 18x9.5 +45.
had Bridgestone Tyres say they wouldnt even sell me a tyre for them! plus a guy im getting my guards rolled from tonight says he wouldnt even consider taking the job on due to too much body work required! What the...!!?

Anyways, it looks like you know what your doing and have tools to do ur own work - is this kinda project outa my league? i got no real garage, tools, or most importantly experience with such wide rims. currently with my 18x8.5 +44 Rota Gforce im already sticking out at the front.

anyway, yours looks absolutely crazy, cheers the photos and posts!

You're only allowed to increase the track by 26mm over standard, a 13mm increase each side, as it's deemed that at more than that the loads placed on the axle and bearing assy is more than considered safe. At +55 stock that allows +42 to remain legal and that's before you start talking guard alignment.

You can use overfenders from companies like DAMD which usually give 20-25mm more coverage or try to get your hands on S402 front guards, good luck with that, which allow an extra 25mm for the stock 18x8 +53 235/40 fitment. That's not going to help the track issues at rego time but you won't draw the flies as much on the road.
