Pulley kit

Postby SkoobyGT » Tue Sep 25, 2007 4:33 pm

I got the 2 pulley GFB kit with belts.

I was going to go the 3 pulleys but was told by the guy that makes them that very little gain, basically just looks good. The crank pulley is the main one to change.

Getting them fitted when the car gets serviced on Thursday.

They say it's similar to taking about 50kg out of your car.

Heres what they say.

Will let you know what I think when they are in.

stock pulley is heavy as cannonball. i watched phat install my pulleys last year..... not an easy job. think took him 1.5-2 hours for the three pulleys. crank pulley was quickest one though, he just used breaker bar to rip the pulley off.

and would the 3 pulley set be better? i wanted to get some for my old car but you try finding bits for a volvo S40 t4 in this country.
I spend most of my money on booze, fast cars and women, I just waste the rest...

I got black, I dont want it to be all bling bling.

Not the type of car to have all different colours in my engine bay.
