Fujitsubo Legalis R & Whitelines Swaybars

Postby viriix » Sun Sep 23, 2007 12:23 am

Thanks to Mark for coming down for a bit of fun and the company. Had a few evo boys as well who stayed to hear the car turn on after the finished product with a few nods of approval.

I had my Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust and Whiteline front and rears installed today at IS Motor Racing. I've been waiting for these babies for a long time and all I can say is WOW. Unbelievable. I'm speechless to an extent. They are nice and quiet but deep and throaty! I think they also sound different to Phil's setup as well :]

I'm very pleased with the purchase of these Fuji's - bloody great choice. Performance wise is noticeable with a lot more low and mid and the car just keeps pulling regardless, made a few zippy attempts quiet fun on the way from Rockdale to Kings Langley.

I was surprised to find out that the swaybars themselves had two settings, soft and hard. I asked to have them set to hard and the car feels flat and solid going around corners, it's a nice change that goes well with the cusco front strut in my opinion! Makes any corner and even roundabouts pretty good fun knowing there is more confidence you are sticking to the road better with more accurate handling - which i'm still adjusting too..

I've got a few pics off my Sony Ericsson K800 phone.. so they're not as pro as others... and a small sound clip where I put the phone on the concrete parking slabs when I was out at Macquarie Shopping Centre late tonight just to give a quick preview of the sound :]

I think my old exhaust and stuff is up for grabs, but I think Mark has claimed them already haha.

Enjoy!

Looking real good mate, makes me wanna get an exhaust now. :(

How thick are the whiteline sways? Are they the only adjustable ones available or do other brands make adjustable ones aswell?

Hmmm might have to give phat a call...... 8)
Cheers,

Rosso.

Not sure man.. I didn't get a chance to look at how thick they were, but when i looked at them in the box they felt pretty solid.. didn't ask.. I just told em to order it and left the work to the boys lol..

but the pic might help a bit -_- I was surprised to find 2 settings, not sure what they'd do.. but.. I set them on hard.. with a few laughs from people around commenting

Nice work Adrian!

Catching up i see! :P

Yeah your car sounds alot more subtle which is nice. I think when/if you decide to go a dump pipe, it will sound alot more deep and aggressive.

Looks the good though man!

Lets meet up Mon night. Want to compare with mine.

Oh and a few test runs! hehe Line em up!

it was rather a quick and easy install, ismotorsport really took care of your car..

but yeah, i love the note it produces... its really nice n suttle incar, so it wont drive you mad after a while and as you were leaving.... boy did it sound grunty..
i got quite scared :(

but yes they were quite sexy, im not sure how the car was stock compared to now, but it did throw me back in my seat quite a fair bit :)

& yes baaags your old zorts woohooooo!!

did you want me to upload some of the pictures i took?

Definately not dissapointed.

The quiet burble noise lulls me to sleep actually.. my mates said the same thing.. lol.. need the music back on to keep me awake..

Already marked down on the insurance list too.. just in case..

I've been careful around some speed jumps as the y-pipes sit a bit low, but it's not bad..

Oh yeah spoke to Mike, as to why my ones sounded heaps louder and aggressive. He said that its a full 3" from the turbo back. Apparently fuji's are 2 & 3/4 inch. My loud boxer note is my music. hehe
