Its not just you. What is involved is basically getting a new bigger battery and new terminals that fit said newer battery.
Once you have the battery and new terminals, all you need to do is cut/unbolt the stock wires from the stock terminals and then bolt them to the new terminals (may need to attach ring terminals in order to bolt down depending on your new terminals).
I upgraded to an Optima D34 Blue top, but only reason behind that was for the high CCA and my car audio.
Below is an image of my install. Obviously your wires won't be anywhere near as thick. You will have 1 cable going to the negative which along the line splits into 2 cables that go to the engine and chassis grounds. And you will have 2 cables leaving the positive. The thin black cable next to the thick blue cable below and the cable under the red wing nut on the image below.
