So after a lengthy delay I finally fitted the STI pedal set from cruisn this morning. Also fitted the number plate spacer kit, the slightest rise of the rear plate makes the car look so beefy now.. Surprising what such a small change can do.

Also now a 'stickered' member :D

Will be ordering some more Whiteline gear soon; swaybars, mounts, ball joints etc etc

Will post pictures when I can be bothered.

So I bought these in gold for my calipers..

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SUBARU-BRAKE ... 2c5d87f817

Somehow I don't think they are going to stay in place too well once the brakes are in use. Should I clear coat the calipers to help them stay in place?

Mark?? :)

Make sure the surface is super clean before fitment. It also wouldnt hurt to sand the area theyre going on and repainting for a flatter surface.

You can clear over them but dont go too heavy with the clear.

Theyre not the right dimensions to suit the caliper pictured either (Iknow theyre not going on 4 pots) just saying. I get mine from the UK as theyre exact oem dimensions and superios quality.

Thanks Mark. Can always count on you!!

Any suggestions on which clear coat to use? I've looked at caliper paint & heatproof paint but doesn't seem to be any clear stuff.

Mark can you link where you get your Subaru decals from?

I got mine from ebay and the rears don't properly fit, but I made it work by overhanging a little of the bottom underline over the gap where the brake pad gap is, just a tiny little bit.
You can't tell at all though, but if I can get some that will fit for cheap enough I'll change them over. Not a huge deal though as I'll be getting brembos soon enough.

I use the VHT products if I have to spray calipers.

So after much procrastination I finally heeded Mark's advice and chopped out the grill to remove the gaps. Came up looking decent. Another few coats of paint and sanding and should look good :)

Are your tyres sitting on rags? Is that a "thing" for detailing?

It's a legit question....
Your front tyre looks like it's sitting on a rag, are all 4 tyres like that?

Was thinking maybe it's to help get under the bottom section of the tyre for cleaning / tyre shine?
