Sway bars and endlinks

Postby tangcla » Mon Sep 17, 2007 9:02 pm

Has anyone replaced the endlinks on their swaybars?

Which Whiteline part number is it?

I ended up getting the AVO suspension kit.

Consists of:
20mm solid adjustable sway bar (it's orange :D)
front and rear adjustable endlinks
front and rear polyurethane swaybar bushes
rear sway bar mount reinforcement (it's orange too! :P)
front caster bushing (aka the tennis ball replacement)

The endlinks are still balljoints, so there shouldn't be any increase in noise or vibration, like the Whiteline/Cusco solid ones.

yep, those are the tennis balls.

On another note, I'm still getting knocking with the endlinks :( not happy. Going to go back to stock soon, so I might have a set of endlinks for sale cheaply! :P

endlinks:

http://www.perrinperformance.com/products/list?category=8&model=10

these have an actual spherical bearings.

as for the tennis balls

i'm more inclined towards these, but... alot more $$ then the AVO ones.

and what lower arm is that??? looks cool...

The AVO ones have ball joints in them, just like the OEM ones - they *shouldn't* make any noise?? but they do, so I'm stumped.

But the sound I hear is very distinctly a knocking noise, not a gradual road noise...

hmmm might check that - I'm still waiting on my sway bar mounts so I guess I'll just have to bear it until then  thanks!
