Justin assured me he can make 185kw on my setup as I will have the entire intake system changed from stock other than the airbox (no benefit going to CAI) and some intercooler piping, everything from the airbox (I even have the Prova air guide) there to the mufflers will be aftermarket.

He said he could try stretch to 200 if I wanted it but it wouldn't be a safe tune so to speak. 180kw is my goal.....for now 8)

Almost forgot.
They do E85 tuning also

Will have to weigh it up, might save that for stage 2 of power mods for if I end up going aftermarket turbo route. But it's still a possibility for the tune next month/early March.

Better add some injectors to your budget.

And other things, that's why I'm thinking maybe just save for stage 2, because it will be too much longer for me to save for injectors + PC + tactrix + whatever else I might need. I want power now :P

The pump is a Denso. Made in Japan, very quiet and rated at 260lph.

Very good pump. I have one.

I will be going down there to get that pipe done and the AVO TMIC. Just trying to get a good price for the units.

Though I reckon I'll get the diff done first. Then the pipe and TMIC and then the Bilstein rebuild with all the Cusco bits I can find thrown on.

Also looking at buying a GC8 WRX at some stage as I want a track car to race around with the boys from the WRX club.

Will see how the money goes...

Also spoke to a guy at the WRX club meet this evening who is related to VIN from STI and he is knows Craig the tuner at Revzone. Said he is top notch and was Vin's understudy at STI.

Editing 26/02/12.
No I am not happy with Revzones service.

They fucked me over.

I am back to going to Springy Motors for my tune. Revzone doesn't deserve my money after the shitty service they did on my car.

Sounds like you're pretty happy so far.

If you're interested in driving a car tuned by Revzone PM me and we can tee up a time.

That's a long positive post :)

I understand your feeling towards the apprentices they have at dealership as most are magizine mechanics or technicians not reAl tradesmen, when I was at tafe most dealership apprentices had never opened up an engine or done any real motor mechanics mainly they do services and brakes lol

I used to help out with general services on cars back at my old job working at a mechanics/petrol station place. And I'm not trained in any of that stuff. A monkey could do that job.

Just posting this here so I stop polluting Smithyy's member profile, here are pics of the custom number plate spacer I designed myself.

http://imgur.com/a/q6nch

I designed this before Mark had designed his one, personally I prefer mine because it's very stealth and you can't notice it. However marks is a more intuitive design, but unfortunately causes it to be too thick.

The spacer is stainless steel but I sprayed it black anyway, dunno why as it was kind of pointless but I had a can of spray lying around doing nothing so I sprayed it.

The top holes on the spacer are some small square threaded nuts welded on to the back of the stainless steel. And then I bought some new pan head screws from bunnings (was a few dollars for 8 pack) like the ones that fit the number plates already, and had those cut down to the right size so it would end at the very end of the thread on the nuts welded to the back of the spacer.
In the 3rd picture I put my number plate surround back on. Because the bumper curves you will never be able to get it to sit perfectly flat for the whole plate, so that's as best as you can do basically.

Oh and I measured it like Mark did for the gap between the top section and the body, mine is just under 4mm, Marks is 6mm for comparison.
