Im liking the dark look.

Its the back corner of the scoop not sitting right??

Thanks guys :)

Yes I knew you'd spot it Mark

Anyone know if I can hit the scoop with a heat gun to get it fitted any better. It's fibreglass so I don't think it will be as compliant as poly/plastic body parts. Plus I don't want to fry the paint off either!

BTW are there any double sided tapes that are super strong? Since Sikaflex isn't an option I want to take.

Finally scanned some dyno sheets I've been meaning to post for ages.

COMPLETELY STOCK - July 2011

CURRENT (turbo back Xforce,Kinagawa UEL headers, Grimmspeed BCS, Prospeed inlet, Hyperflow CAI, Perrin TMIC, AVO TB pipe, Aeromotive fuel pump)

Not too sure why the PSI varies so much???

The guys at ESP reckon the stock turbo was at it's limit, so next would be turbo + injectors + other stuff. But handling mods are next up so it'll all have to wait....

Nice. That's a pretty damn good result from the stock turbo.

Just a teaser update for now. The car is completely stripped underneath, as I'm trying to complete the suspension and braking setup before going for any more power (I won't deny kiks' beastly black wagon has been my aspiration :D )

Just a few more goodies to arrive and install, and then it's off for a decent alignment. Woo Hoo twisties!

Haha. Yeah I had a bit of fun last weekend installing coilovers. I had to use foot power on my breaker bar to get the front left strut undone. Almost thought I wasn't going to be able to get it off.

Got a bit of fine tuning to do this weekend plus will hopefully get my rotors and pads on too.
Was supposed to do them last weekend but my helper went AWOL.

Love your car Stu, and just want to say thank you for being so helpful to me in PM's ever since you joined.
Looking forward to hearing how your new handling mods go! Bet you can't wait :D

Also bumping this thread because I don't think it gets enough love.

Ferrari

yep I will thanks Kieran, I've spent a couple of hours over the last two nights cutting bushes out of the rear subframe and diff cradle - awesome "fun" :(. Hot tip for those DIYing, the rubber part of these bushes can be taken out nicely with a hole saw, then cut the steel insert with saw/hacksaw/dremel?(don't go too far!) a couple of times then belt it with a large hammer until it comes out. Ended up pulling out the diff completely to get at the subframe *sigh* now just have to get these 1 piece bushes in there...

Daniel, speak to Troy at Prospeed for Ohlins cheapest around at $3795 (checkout viewtopic.php?f=37&t=2654).

Kinda thinking I should start a gen4 suspension sticky thread with all the suspension info and experience of late. Going to chat with a local suspension guru too once it's all back together about some of the rear geometry.

'Disco' Stu doesn't have to advertise.
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!
