OK, thought it was time to share my mods after all this lurking behind the scenes.
I bought my 2008 GT tb STI back in June 2011 completely stock, except for a turbo timer.

June 2011:

Now just four weeks later the poor little STI is trapped in my garage for a few mods - let's call it stage 1 :D
July 2011:

Attempting to fit the even more poor fitting Ultrex rear diffuser with blue racing stripes  . Who would have thought the little jack could hold up the entire car

Anyhow still waiting on a few little hoses before I install all the inlet stuff and TMIC. It's just amazing how one little part, like a dump pipe gasket can hold things up for so long!
I'll post some more pics over the next few days as things progress once the remaining hoses arrive.

Oh and for the record, stock she cranked out 143.3KW ATW on the Ultimate Tunes dyno before I started tinkering.

Update @ August 2011:

EDIT: Thanks to all who asked, but I'm not selling any of the STI parts - just in case I ever want to go back to stock form.

Forgot to mention, under the car is a complete mess, due to the previous owner/s having sprayed black paint on nearly everything. STI exhaust (except the tips) BLACK, bilsteins BLACK, STI springs BLACK, overspray everywhere BLACK!!!

Oh well, exhaust is gone, perhaps stage 2 will include coilovers :o

Nice work, hit the ground running.

Got to love the ultrex fitting, that tape on the bumper was pretty extreme. WTF is with the black paint, what a wanker!

Why 2 catch cans?

Thanks Ben, yes once you pull out all the inlet piping it pretty clear that the Subi motor has separate PCV and valve cover feeds into the inlet pipe. Looking inside the inlet it's full of oil mist and also a little in the older intercooler. So hopefully I can plumb up the 2 catch cans to filter both lines and keep my Perrin TMIC squeaky clean.

OK, Whew finally some progress and an update!! The engine mods are pretty much done, I've fitted the Perrin TMIC with GFB Respons BOV and while I was at it replaced the world's ugliest plumb back pipe with a sweet piece of 28mm steel braided hose. Also completed the Prospeed inlet, Hyperflow CAI, Grimspeed 3 port EBCS and double Cusco catch cans.

As for the throttle body pipe, I tried the AVO one but it just didn't fit without kinking up, so then I tried the stock one which just wasn't flexible enough to get the Perrin TMIC in, then I tried cutting 15mm off the AVO one, which then caused it to pop off (even with t-bolt clamps!!). Anyhow I was about to dowse the car in petrol and abandon it, when I thought I'd give a bit of 68mm 45degree bend silicon pipe a try, after much measuring and cutting, I finally ended up with something that kind of fits (well better than AVO) and only has a a little kink in it.

Anyhow here are the pics taken from my new SonyE Neo phone - hopefully they're ok. Funny how a two week job turns into 6 weeks+ :(
