What time is the photo shoot? I won't be back in Melbourne until after 7pm, so if the photo shoot pans out like the last time I attended (past 10pm), I might be able to squeeze it in. Just have to convince the missus that this will be contributing to the global knowledge of the forum! :)

Give me a call when you're back. I'll be there from 7:30 but I have some cars lined up. If you can be there around 8:30-9 that'd be fine.

Update on this weeks progress:

Auto Transmission Valve Body Upgrade - Done and seems ok. A few things that I am watching over the next week or two as it will take the TCU some time to "learn" the new environment. I need to let this settle before I make any comments, positive or negative. Neutral for the moment.

DBW Tune - HPF position is that the VDC is the primary cause of the engine stall at WOT. WIll be interesting to hear their account of what is causing the issue on the manual version that does not have VDC. Kick down is much quicker, however, now there is a constant hunting for gears during ascent of hills in cruise control mode. Again, jury still out on this point and I will wait a little longer to see if it settles over time. Standing start launches with VDC Off are quite reasonable.

Filter position - Filter and Electric Fan position (in lower front guard) were inspected and deemed to be good. HPF recommendation states no driving through deep water! Now, what is deep? One centimenter, two centimeters....10cm or 20cm? Seems I will be needing to add a depth gauge

Next steps:

WTA Cooler is getting closer. The 1st production run is in its final stages then being shipped. We will see how that pans out over the next couple of weeks.

Sorry, forgot to indicate that I used my ECUdatascan in performance test mode. does 0-60, 0-100 and 400 meter times, all derived from the ECU (not speedo).
