Thanks Brian and Justin,

Not sure I am going that way just yet. Will wait and see how the wrapping holds up. It is definitely much more reduced in the raspiness than it was before, so I maybe able to live with it.

For the type of stainless, is 304 an appropriate grade for headers?

Maybe have a chat to Owen as well?

He sent me a pic of another liberty h6 that has some brand headers that looked good installed. I can't remember the brand, but Owen can tell you.

Also, check out K2gear. A fellow H6 member was telling me they do a set as well.

Protect the wrap from oil and the elements with ACL pyramid alloy shield, DCI (Diver consolidated industries) make similar shields too. Might drop another Db or two as well :)

Well, time is approaching to update my daily driver, so Project Veloci is going to come to a close. Learned a lot about modern cars and the interplay of engine and transmission (auto).

Leaning towards a Euro sedan. Details to be published once the deal is done!

Well, it will have to be pretty special to break the bonds with the Liberty, and special it is! I drove it last Saturday for half a day on a mix of Freeway, City, coastal and rainforest roads.

1st hint, 600 NM torque from factory, one step tune to 740 NM torque. :D

Feel free to play the guessing game.

So the BMW 535d was definitely a consideration but not correct.
