Picked up the new daily driver last Friday and drove it from Coffs down to Melbourne. Sweet as! :D Transferred rego to Vic and she is now resting peacefully in my garage.

Poor Lib. She is left out in the elements all week. I guess that sort of happens to the ex! She goes to Ivan's garage tomorrow for return to stock. Parts up on the Everything but Cars thread in the next couple of weeks. There will be a window of opportunity until Xmas, then it all goes to eBay.

List of bits will look something like this:

1. SC Kit (includes 6 x STI 550cc injectors, Sard fuel pump, belt, mounts, etc) - SOLD
2. WTA Cooler for SC Kit - SOLD
3. Headers from Raptor
4. Custom 3.0 inch exhaust elements comprising:
a. Dual 2.5 inch front Y section
b. 1 x 3.0 inch centre and offset centre muffler
c. 1 x 3.0 inch xForce rear Y pipe
d. 2 x 2.5 inch rebuilt stock mufflers with straight thru perforated pipe into steelwool/glasswool packed stock casing
5. 1 spare set of GT headlights
6. 1 custom hand made mesh Grille - SOLD
7. 1 x pair of Philips DRL (8 LED versions) built into 3.0R Fog Light surrounds (all wiring and control ready to go).
8. 2 x sets of white mirrors in various states of repair. Should be enough bits to make at least two good mirrors.
9. One set of 5 x STI wheels and tyres, with STI centre caps and STI valve caps. - SOLD
10. Tactrix 1.0U cable and extension cable.
11. 5EAT Built Auto Transmission - Good for more than 700 NM torque. - Separate thread - viewtopic.php?f=68&t=27629

Any early bidders will have to put up solid offers supported by cash to guarantee pre-sales.

THIS SECTION WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED - REFER TO THE FOR SALE THREAD:

Very sorry to see you geting rid of your Lib Mark... :( However, the Jag XF is certainly a classy choice. What are the servicing/part costs going to be like?
I got this plan. It's called 'Save Ass'. And the way it works is this - I slip outta one of these windows and I run like a bastard!

Thanks Aaron, I am enjoying it, not for the country twisties though as it is a heavier beast to throw around but she has a lot of usable torque over a wide range, and that is the sweetest part (for me).

The 1st long drive was on the way home from Coffs over two days. Great way to get acquainted. :)

Hey Beau,

Very sure it will fit. Can try it before you buy to be sure.

I also have some DRLs mounted on mesh patterned fog surrounds in the same mesh as the grille.

Don't care for the servicing costs in Australia (which are stupidly high) I will be getting all my bits and pieces and parts from a UK website at very good prices. Even with delivery costs, they are still cheaper by 2/3rds.

I currenyl have 3 shipments on the way, two from UK and one from US. :)

Lib has been sold after return to stock. She was still a very nice car and still a little sad to see her go.

This project thread is now formally closed.
