Nice bike! That's a serious looking rear sprocket.
Aren't these belt drive normally? Looks like a lot work done on it already, what's next... 1200cc conversion?

Yeah it's had a fair bit done to it.

Wider rear wheel + bigger front wheel, chain conversion, rear sets, clip ons etc.

Hopefully have the 1200 conversion done by mid year. Just wish the dollar was a bit better as I'll be getting the kit from the states.

Took the car out for a spin tonight, didn't last long though with the Supercharger internal belt snapping.

Looks like it's no boost for a while !

I think it is pretty common when you start running smaller pulleys (58mm on mine) Has been to the drags alot and gets driven hard on the weekend so it was only a matter of time really. Will do some research today on a replacement belt.

The aftermath.

All depends on how quick I can get a replacement belt. Hopefully source one today.

You get your clutch done?

Nah not yet. Probably buy it this week or next week and get it installed soon after as it's slipping quite a bit now.

Had a new belt cut to size today by Naismith power transmissions in Seven Hills.

Cleaned out the old belt material and and put it all back together. Did a lap up the freeway and she is all good again.

Cheers boys.

Gino, as far as I know I still have the original reservoir that came with the kit(D1 SPEC). I believe Mark had all the fittings resealed with some copper gasket maker though. Haven't had a leak yet so all good.

Latest engine bay pic.
