Yes it knocks it slightly on heavy acceleration but I can't hear it, can only see two tiny scuff marks under the strut brace. Phat thinks he can lower how it's mounted so it has full clearance

Doesn't appear to, but how about when it's launched and the engine rotates a bit?

Going to put any extra heatshields or get a blanket for the turbo at all to stop excessive heatsoke? It may not happen when moving because of the air flowing in the scoop and through the intercooler but at low speeds and idle it'll heatsoke pretty bad by the looks of it.

Far out that Process West TMIC is huuuuggge  Makes my Perrin look like a matchbox

Great mod and respect for being the guinea pig for this one.

Not the right person to ask about that! Why is it going to heatsoke?

Heat rises, and that seems to cover the majority of the turbo. I would be speaking to the process west guys and see if they have any ideas for turbo blankets or anything for it.

Cut off the intercooler frame or see if an early model forester xt cover fits.

I don't want to cut my STI cover that's why I'm trying to find a used 2.5 cover to use so I can chop it in half. Forresters have to run this intercooler without a cover as well.

The early xt forester covers don't cover the intercooler.

good idea any specific model, pics? I wish the engine cover would just fit, it would be a shame to waste my STi numbered badge on top.

take the badge off and use a high temp glue to stick it to the new cover.
