It depends on the extent/severity of damage.

Is there a way to fix up the gutter rash from the previous owner?

I tried doing this last month and I was quoted $350.00 each! for the repair, re spray to gun metal

still looking around to see if I can get it cheaper....

God dammit...cracked my front lip tonight :(

Well not completely cracked but the lip had been repaired from the previous owner and the paint where the crack was has split and you can kinda tell in day light :(

Not the whole lip...when I bought the car from the dealer and it had the cracked lip he said they wouldn't be prepared to replace it cos it was too costly but would repair it. They had this vinyl repairer fix it and he did a really good job, if you looked closely and it was broad daylight you could kind of tell the section where it was cracked had been painted, but if you didn't know it was there it wasn't too noticeable.

Obviously now with the run in I had today with a tricky driveway it was enough force to flex the paint so it's come apart...would need to take a pic to show you what I mean!

Having already gotten a bit of a modding bug in the last month or so, I'm starting to really feel it itch now!

I am quite keen to pick up a Perrin TMIC and send my car off to Scott from Insight Motor sports for a tune!

I am also considering adding a recirculating blow off valve as an upgrade to the OEM blow off valve, but will speak to Phat and see what he thinks.

Any suggestions on further mods? (not including upgrading the turbo or any further exhaust mods as I won't be doing either for a very long time at least!)

Stock sti lip has got paint on it anyway. I had mine plasitc welded last week (excellent job btw!) bit of sanding over the repaired section and you can see either side of it you get down to a layer of primer then to plastic that is the same colour as the paint basically. My mate said when he was heating it up to start repairing it he could see the paint lifting even he was surprised.

Do you have pics of how it turned out? And how much it would cost to get it done?

I'll take some pics tonight and post them it came up really well! not visible at all from the top and underneath you can see a nice thick weld joining the crack. Mine was literally in half when I bought the car and now you cant tell at all. I only paid about $50 to get my mate who does plastic and fiberglass truck panels to fix it but I don't imagine it will be very much to have fixed, he said it only took him at most a little over 2 hours.
