can i have your car if you die?? :D

bummer about it not being done in time, but really, projects nearly always take longer than expected, and if they rush too much at the end youll be back there before you know it cos somethings gone wrong

jaydece wrote:..when testing the varex mufflers...with it fully open works no problem..but....when you press the button to fully close..the car would stop....stall.....unknown at this stage to what is causing this? still investigating...

When I was shopping around for an exhaust several weeks ago, I was intending to get the Varex mufflers simply for the open/close function and was thinking of putting the stock tips on the Varex-without tips mufflers- to keep the stocky look. Anyway, called up an exhaust place (distributor of Varex....cannot name), and was informed the exhaust flow is twice as restrictive as stock system when fully closed!... hope you get around this prob.

Good luck with the project. Not long to go before the finished product.....thanks for keepin us informed :)

Hey andrew, thanks for the heads up mate! and thanks for your kind words!

From what I saw and experienced when I turned the car on....is it turned off / car stopped as if it was more of a electrical problem / electrical short / other fault related, I kinda used the wrong word when I said stalled...BUT?!.....maybe your right? maybe it's too restrictive that it chocked the car? who knows? will get answers from wed onwards....

Awesome result mate! Well done! After all that time and effort, thats a great result on the HPF dyno. btw boys the HPF dyno is definitely not a happy dyno, its known as fairly tuff.
