The sleeping dragon has awoken!!!

Last night Phatman installed the Sprint Booster...which is a signal amplifier that dramatically reduces the electronic throttle lag.

The car has totally been transformed, its SO much more responsive down low, and much more driveable off boost. 1st to 2nd gear is such a treat now....almost scary when first driving it!!

It feels like i've had an ecu tune done.....but for a fraction of the cost!! Still currently trying to get used to the different drive of the car....find my self riding the clutch a bit or bunny hopping because im still not used to how sensitive the accelerator is now, gotta lose my "heavy foot syndrome"!!! hehe

Thanks to Phat for the install and thanks to XRC15T for supplying the Sprint Booster.....guys i 110% recommend this mod!!

Speak to XRC15T about ordering this part in.

Any car that has Electronic throttle control (or drive by wire) wil benefit from this mod....regardless if it is auto or manual. Franky did mention that the Sprint Booster has a specific set up for the Autos and the Manuals.

As for price, it was $450, and WELL WORTH IT!! it doesn't take long to install at all either.

for a general over look here is the link http://www.sprintbooster.it/index_eng.php

correct, thats the part number i have on the box.......install took about 10-15 mins after waiting for the car to cool down since i drove to phats place to have it installed. Requires to be done on a cold start, after install fired her up and waited for the car to warm up.

was then advised by franky to fang the car like it was stolen for about 10 mins so that it adapts to an agressive style since it is self learning....but there was already alot of get up and go from leaving the drive way already!!!!

That’s what I was thinking, I'm planning on keeping my car for a long time so does anyone know if it causes advanced wear and tear?

$450

The Sprintbooster is basically an inline "amplifier", so as Brendon said will give more response and reduce the drive by wire lag for better throttle response.
I've tested it for a while now to make sure it works before recommending it to anyone....
Delivered to Brendon & Phat earlier this week.

There are different versions for Auto and manual,
10 min install job, reset the ECU and cos the ecu is reset, you should drive how you want it to learn. for most of us... screw economy and thrash it.

It gets a bit touchy sometimes, and u have to relearn how to drive ur car in traffic. but meh....IT ALL GOOD
I tried doing a "convservative" tank and I still got 550km but It guzzles the juice when you give it some. but thats expected with any performance mod.

It just looks like a plug. (picture I knicked off the net),
Japanese tuneshops are using them now eg Gialla and TN Guts,

Are these the same thing that makes the MY07 take off quicker in S#?

If not and there are units specific to the MY07GT i want 1 now!

how does it work?

for example does it just give more throttle then you actually are giving low in the rev range? so when you're taking off, its actually flooring it for example when you're just taking off normally?
