Big thanks again to the phat man!
Fitted in the HKS SSQV and HKS panel filter.
Sounds nice, and quiet enough to be enjoyed as well.

LOL, the SSQ BOV's are great, and with the apexi CAI you get nice intake flutter too

It's only the flutter through the CAI, that you can't hear when the airbox is on.
It's only on like half throttle when you back off softly you will get it.
No worse than having a standard box on there and not hearing anything, but it still happens you just dont hear it.
Nothing like the SR20 flutter.

if you want flutter ... just put on a fmic. i got too much flutter, pain in the ass really.

are these easy to fit?
Do you have to cut the engine cover?
Is idle affected?

no need to cut anything with HKS ssqv ... and very easy to install ..
i didn't have any issue with idle .....

Hmmzzz..... i kinda miss the kssssshhhhh sound.
But from wat i remember it was quite loud on my 180.
Any other quieter bov's around?

Didn't have to cut the cover for the new MY07 which was great, my idle only seems to be a bit funny when i start the car now, and sits around 1500rpm initially i've noticed, but once you put her in gear, to reverse or go, and stop etc it drops back down to the normal 700rpm idle..
I'll keep watching it though..

Is that cold or warm start? it should normal if cold start.
