Name: Daniel
Age: 22
Car: MY07 2.5 GT Spec B sedan
Colour: Silver
History: MY05 RS Impreza, MY09 Liberty Heritage sedan w/ Mcintosh
Purchase date: 10th August 2010

Had been thinking about changing up from the Heritage to Spec B, and recently the right car came up at the right time, for the right price! Has been a pleasure to drive since, a road trip to Melbourne not long after purchase giving a good chance to get familiar with the car.

Current mods:
STi boot spoiler
Front lip (ordered, should be here next week)
Phillips Silvervision indicators (rear)

Future mods:
Exhaust system
Tein S-Techs
Whiteline RSB
HKS air filter
08 Tuned by STi honeycomb grille
K2 Gear rear window spoiler
Maybe a tune and some other bits and bobs down the track

And just for reference, a few shots of the last 2 cars:

MY05 Impreza

Apologies for the poor phone images, once the lip arrives I'll get out for some proper shots :)

I look forward to adding to this in the future!

Nice one.

If you didn't already know, S&J is one of your best bets for your "mild power" needs

Thanks!

I spoke to Sean not long after purchase about my options; when the time comes, it'll be going to S&J!

Welcome Mate.

Im from Adelaide too. Around the Glenelg area.

HKS Filter was such a good improvement. mainly in turbo spooling and waste-gate release sound :D
If your after an exhaust Phat might be making some quads so regrister your interest and do a bit of searching about them in the exhaust section.

Thanks, good to see some more SA Liberties, will have to try and set up a meet in the warmer weather!

I will hopefully do the filter within the next week or so, did you notice much difference in throttle response etc or mainly just the noises?
I'd posted on the quads when I had the last Lib, will hang out to see what happens with those otherwise will have something made locally.

Yea there might be a bit of increase in throttle response but nothing huge. Def worth it though.especially with the resonator of it sounds great. Order a AC filter while your there. Mine was filthy. Cant believe how soiled they get.

has been couple of drives with some of lads with gen2 TT's and B4s. Should head down henely then port then hills or something. Doesnt have to be perfect weather either.

Well, has been a busy week in Liberty-land!

First, rear mufflers have been replaced with higher flowing units, now with quad tips. Sounds great, looks great! 8) Car seems to feel a bit more responsive but that might just be a placebo with all the noise!

Second, installed front lip tonight - went with the ultrex as I was happy with their lip I used on my last Liberty. All seems well with this one also.

Will get some shots in the sun afer work tomorrow!

Daniel you can purchase the STi badge for your Ultrex front lip from PHAT GT for $17 Delivered!

Email forumparts@gmail.com if you are keen on one, got a group buy going for the forum members and PHAT had only 7 left as of last night.

Yeah, the time has finally come :P Good call on the wash, was looking at some pics from old meets the other day - has been a while!

I've got a day off this Friday so hoping to get a decent wash in for some pics, have been flat out the past few weeks!

Hamish - definately keen for a meet, be it car wash or otherwise! I work Saturdays but am easy for Sat PM or Sundays.

Very nice mate.
Front lip needs the STi badge though, did you check if PHAT GT has any left?

I haven't spoken to him about it yet, looking to get a few things at once when the time comes!
