22750AA010

10 ag wiring from battery using 25amp blade fuse to 30 amp narva 4 pin relay. New earth to relay.

10 ag wiring from fpc to fp (drill two holes in top tank cover with rubber grommets to feed wires through to bypass stock plug) to e85 compliant pigtail plug.

Ign Trigger switch for relay from FPC, negative 10ag wire from fpc to fp

Modify duty cycle tables in rom to 0,50,100

Done

Now need to test and hope the erratic fuel pressure will be gone, meaning rich spike at moderate boost can be smoothened out and lean out at high boost / current can be averted.

Should now be getting 13.5-13.8v at fuel pump. Will be completing this tomorow / monday and report back

Yep, the relay solution.
Will you need retune?

Well I wouldn't call it a "retune" - rather, it would be the first "tune" since we haven't been able to start properly tuning with this fuel pump issue

And yeah it's a relay solution with a twist - I think the above will be the first time it's done that I've read about.

Looking good Mick very clean indeed.
Hopefully you're close to the end with the issues as it's looking pretty promising power wise

Keep in mind that was the power at 6000rpm, torque was flat and power was capable of climbing with more fuel so at 8000rpm it has potential for roughly 33% more peak power available on 24psi. 350kw on 24psi is possible

Did you do it before midday on Saturday?

The turbo H6 was only seeing 10V at the pump.

I'm very lucky to be surrounded by genuinely top people who really know their shit.

Pump wiring done by Matty Spry on the dyno with wires running over my shoulder (and round my neck at one stage) while I sat in the passenger seat and worked on the map.

Seriously, the Subaru modification scene in this country rocks.

Absolutely agree tony - which is what I was getting at in the h6 turbo thread earlier

The likes of yourself, Matt, phat, serge, msr etc - great minds and resources

I'm really hoping you're right Matt- would love to see over 330 atw and get into low 11 territory. Not that quarter mile is everything but knowing the power potential would be good

After a couple of days with the new auto I can honestly say its one of the best things I've seen - its smooth as silk in normal driving and crisp and sharp without being brutal at WOT

Only thing I'm spewing about is I can't get it to spool to more than 5 psi on brake boosting - which is going to cost me time in the quarter from a standstill, unless Matt and Scott can weave some magic in the tune once pump is sorted to get it to spool up quicker and therefore get to 10psi or more on the line

Once pump is sorted, it will be an entirely different kettle of fish

Yep - if spool up on the Convertor can't be improved with the tune then its a definite

Not going back to 2.2 second 60 foot times....

Don't do it. Because I will have to, and I won't have anywhere to hide the bottle.
