I’ve spent hours and hours and hours on carsales and can’t find a car as nice as a Roc for the money so it looks like thats the way I’m going.
FWD is a deterrent, but i think i’d rather get an awesome daily, and buy a dedicated track / project car in a couple of years and get my RWD skid pig dosage that way.

Plus, with motivation like this and the sound of a catless 2.0t paired with DSG, its hard to resist.

You could buy a Scirocco, have a really nice but boring daily driver.

Or you could buy this and be the coolest kid on the block, and not just in Eltham. You could be driving through Chapel St on Friday night and still be the coolest kid on the block.

I’d love an S14 or S15 track car... or maybe an LS2 powered AE86 ;)

Stop stretching my budget, i don’t have 120k haha

My car was feeling loose for a couple of weeks. All of a sudden the alignment felt out of whack.
The other night i was rotating my tyres, and i noticed the front drivers side wheel was all over the place. I could push and pull on the wheel and there was a lot of movement. Got a new hub assembly (inc bearing) this afternoon and installed it tonight. Good as new.

Here is the old hub, if you shake it, it sounds like a maraca.

How did you separate the axle from the HBA?

6" 3 arm puller? Slide hammer?

Take caliper and disc off, remove abs sensor, undo 4 bolts from the back of the HBA, remove the 32mm centre hub bolt thing and then the entire assembly will come out.

The HUB isn't fixed to the axle as such, it just slots over it and the bolts on the back hold it in place.
