My plan was to have you tell everyone about the differences. Think of it as me being lazy, as I am sure people would have been wondering. I am very happy with mine!

I have it back :D

Runs much better!
Quieter all round.

Can already tell it needs a tune though.
Soooo nice to be back in a car that handles!!

All Star Garage engine build for the win.

She moves along nicely at only 4psi so really keen to see how this goes with good oil and a tune.

Hurry up Matts visit!!

Were you out all night driving after you got it back J? Haha!!!

Can't wait for a spin when it's had a tune thrown on. Let me know if you need a hand loading anything/logging.

Thanks Ian, logging sounds good.

70kms on now.

The setup can get the 3576 spinning nice n early.

No over 4,000rpms n under 10psi for 1,000kms.

Soooo hard to take easy but running better now.

Happy as, this thing rips around town now.
Makes a glorious sucking sound when coming on to any positive boost.
Not really able to hear it outside car though...

Here is an overlay, within 15 hp at 4psi less but look at the torque up top :-)
18psi & NO EBC running at present.

Rear diff is whining its protest already!

Quick update, been tweaking a little with good result.

Driving for 1 week before changing FPR manifold line to MAP hose :

Driving for 1 week after changing FPR Manifold to MAP hose:
Image

Why did I do it?

Idles much stronger and lower (under 1000)
Sits on one speed without bucking around nearly as much.
For some reason the auto kicks back and behaves better too...

Theory is that the previous setup where the FPR line for vacuum/pressure was off the intake runner to cylinder 4 had vacuum oscillating too much.
Connecting to a line that comes from the center of the intake manifold produces a more stable vacuum/pressure signal to the FPR.
As a result the ECU can more accurately fuel as the FPR is not introducing pressure waves into fuel system.

As this has shown me that more stable fueling can smooth this setup out I may install some dampers into fuel lines near each rail.

Then a proper tune with EBCS on Dyno and road at Matts next visit to rescale the MAF as we were at 4.87V at last visit.
