Thanks guys for the great links.

I won't be modifying M5 as I reckon BMW have done a great job on them and are pretty much fully optimised.

I'll only be getting the car properly detailed and the leather interior rejuvenated and sit back and enjoy.

On the exhaust note, it sounds absolutely awesome. On the test drive down Beach Road at night it was an absolute thrill.

Submeister, when you get some time pop over and you can check it out and have a drive for yourself.

Very nice choice Bruce and agreed this is one car that shouldn't be modified but rather enjoyed in its purest form

Nah, it's screaming out for forced induction.
You know it makes sense Bruce.
Give it a few weeks and we find out what Mods are planned.

Hahaha Peter, Bruce seems to stick by his word on plans, but I recon there's a 50% chance of you being right :)

Either way, the car has class and if bruce is the one to modify it, it should keep its class even modified 8)

Bruce I think I saw you driving the BMW today at around 9am on the freeway going toward Melbourne domestic airport?

I was in a cab going opposite direction

Car is sold.

Sold on the weekend to a medical student who isn't into cars so I don't think he'll be on the forums.

His mechanic checked it out, got a clean bill of health, as I expected, and he bought it on the spot.

I cleared out my laptop of all my log files. And have sold my Tactrix.

Will take a break for a while from Subarus and will look at getting a 99-00 GC8 for a crack at motorsport next year with the WRX club.

To keep me busy in the interim I've got a Baur convertible and 540i and the M5.

I'll get some pics up when I get a chance.
