Mate sounds awesome!! Good work.

Let us know what kind of figures you get when you get it on the dyno.

Love the install mate!
Adding power makes you faster on the straights, while subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.

Tom thanx for ur help. This is my plan B at the moment. Plan A - Looks like I can source them from the US for about $120 AU a set cheaper than the UK.

Will c how I get on.

New AFR sensors are on there way from subarugenuineparts.com

Unfortunately at this point no more Raptor S/C updates because as of last Wednesday morning power/steering system has decided to chuck a major wobbly. :x
System is pumping aerated fluid out the top of the reservoir and making a f-ing mess. Pretty sure its not S/C install related. The only part that has not been changed or thoroughly inspected are the pump O-rings. Another pump has also been tried.

Does anyone know if there could be a stuck valve or something in the steering rack and also some people are saying these systems are notorious to bleed and some the
opposite, that they are self bleeding with lock to lock turns

What a PITA this has been, with the local Subaru dealer being totally useless, which was not at all a surprise. Could tell the full dealer story but I couldn't be f***ed. :angry2:

Have to see if we can get a p/s pump o-ring kit off a another local workshop who has Subaru history first up 2moro.

Any advice appreciated.

Cant sleep thinking about this. Is there any chance that the tension on the new longer Supercharger drive belt is too tight causing the pump shaft to ride heavy on one
side of the seal allowing air to enter the pump!!!! :?:

Edit: Sorry for the double post  . Now posted in the 3.0R Specific Thread.

Good news, finally have this PITA p/steering issue sorted. Rectified the aeration problems a week or so ago and 2day fitted a good 2nd hand p/s pump.

Thanx to all who offered there advice across the threads and a Big Thanx to Jarrod for supplying the pump at a good price.

Also fitted new upgrade AFR sensors from the USA on the w-end. Matt(Kido) did a great job in rescaling and tuning for them. The Lib is running nicely now and pulling very hard from 3000rpm - 7100rpm, especially in the cool nite air.

Looking forward to full dynotune and road tuning with Matt next Wednesday. First time ever with a dyno, should be fun.

Latest Mods - no pics yet

New GT bonnet with custom black mesh insert

Custom heat shield between Pod Filter(mounted in inner guard) and engine bay. Used 12mm formshield from Clarke Rubber and 3m double-sided tape.
Made cardboard template first of course. Worked a treat. Pics to come.
