Nope. Just the lines and hopefully soon the pads. This car's power doesn't really warrant the upgrade, except for the aesthetic factor.

Been a wee while since an update...

Swapped out OEM brake pads for Hawk Ceramics (Thanks to Crusin' ). These pull up MUCH better than OEM fo' shure. However they squeal a bit when cold (i.e. First three stops when leaving home in the morning).






FINALLY got slimline weathershields (Thanks to Bosco who remembered I was after them ).










BTW, I admit I am mechanically <ahem> challenged, but despite what other people said, it took me nearly one hour to understand the IKEA like instruction manual and another hour to install these bad boys. I even had to take the car to an extremely nice panelbeater the next day to help me finish putting the trim back in. George from Re-Creation Panels in Box Hill was a true gentleman. Refused payment, refused a six pack and was even kind enough to say I had got the trim mostly back in. When I need panel work, this is where I'll go back to.

That being said, the weathershields are great. They increase the wind noise slightly whilst driving, but you can have the window down about 1/3 and the breeze is diverted out of your face. Also, when it's raining, the water doesn't fall on the seat when you open the door. Slightly more aggressive look too, which is a good thing IMO.

Opinions welcome.

I find my HPC's squeal horribly loud on the front when braking in reverse (ie: parking). Not entirely sure why as the shims have been greased up to the eyeballs, and forward braking seems to produce little or no squeal at all.

They do perform great, though. Get some punishment into them!

+1. I have zero noise with forward braking, just reverse when parking.

FWIW wagon shields are about $25 less then sedan ones, another win for the wagon.
