the ones i test drove felt to smoth through the rev range, good grunt but no wack in your back. think I just love the feel of a turbo spooling up way to much, but then on the other hand i have been around wrx's since I was born as thats all dad had.

Nice. At 46sec you can see the butterfly close. :D

Definitely drops the dB's a bit.

Yea makes a massive difference in the flesh, its quieter when closed than my stock mufflers where, now to find some decent quad tips for a good price, feel free to offer brands and websites.

Sounds raspy hondaish, have you checked with regency if the adjustable muffs are a defect item?

Im fair sure they are a defect, once i get the quad tips on, you wont be able to see the butterfly as its quite far back in the muffler. are the TCP tips 2.5"each? im just looking around at muffler tips atm :D

Agree with Hamish re the sound with them closed. Open they're quite loud (but aggressive which I like) - I'm trying to decide on the centre pipe but not sure about noise at the moment. Have you had a chance to cruise at 100km? Any drone at that speed?

I assume you'll get a muffler shop to fabricate you some tips rather than buying a whole set just to chop off the ends?

yea open they are really aggresive, closed they are quiter then stock mufflers, and have the same raspy sound that the stock muffs did when they where on with the x force cat back. I have them closed most of the time when driving around town as you can hardly hear them at all, love being able to open them up and give it the beans sometimes though :),

theres no drone at all. if you where to sit on 4,000 or 5,000 the whole way somewhere with them open you would get a little, but apart from that cause who would be that retarded to do that, there is no drone at all. can thank x force with their massive resonator for that one :).

Thanks for the feedback.., am aiming for a tune end of Jan and wondering if I should get the 3 inch centre as well - was going to do it while I was still here in Brisbane, but my mate said are you sure you want to drive back to Adelaide with a drony vehicle lol. He's probably right... might be wiser to wait until I'm back in Adelaide for that final mod.

no probs mate, :) I asked everyone I could before buying an exhaust. paid off in the end. if you leave your stock muff's on you wont have any drone, but yes would get the exhaust done before you get your tune to get the most out of it, im waiting for fuel pump and a new turbo before I retune early next year :).

You should add in the video description what kind of car it is for informational purposes.

You should open it up at some point Sunday during the cruise.
