Mod bug must have bit me the other night cause I woke up and felt the need to go out and buy a heap of stuff

Cobb STS

Install was a semi PITA in regards to getting the pin and circlip out. After install the reverse yoke rattled it's head off while driving so I had to pull it all apart again to regrease. Also put a layer of electrical tape around the shaft to isolate it from the yoke.Came up smooth as eggs after that.

To go with the STS I picked up a Group N tranny mount,Kartboy pitch stopper and crossmember bushings which will drive the NVH through the roof! Should be interesting.

Will install those next week.

Very nice mate!

How short is throw compared to stock?

I had an STI short shifter installed a long while back... certainly the throw was shorter than stock, but not enormously so. Still, it was a lot better even with that small improvement. No way I could ever go back to the stock shifter, the original felt like you were trying to row a boat IMO!

Not quite centered properly at the moment but will have a tinker with them on the weekend.

Sound from these is awesome but not loud at all, should sound even better with the x force center.

Currently have Kumho KU31 225/40/18's fitted but this will probably change in the coming weeks as im not that keen on stretch.

Also fitted up a set of BC BR coilovers which makes it sit much nicer. Now that I have wheels that will fit brembos I think I will go down that path, maybe as a chrissy present to myself.
