Its stock as a rock. 12k on the clock now and 5 / 6 weeks of owner ship and has ( and currently still ) been back in for warranty 4 times
They have probably spent about 4 or 5 grand on labour and parts already easy.
The proximity key and key less start is just simply fucked. But the worst issue has been the car starting and then shutting down with "immobilizer please try again" 5 times in a row. Then at 80kph the cars dash and everything stuttered and i got all the dash lights come up and then.... blank....nothing for a second or 2 and then boom all good. So that was an exciting conversation with volvo head office about the car trying to kill me

. Then when i went to start it the next day it did the same thing , light up then went blank and then back to ignition on, but with a CEL
So i was told that there was a "glitch" in the ecu that created at spike in voltage that in turn RESET the ecu at 80kph....... FANTASTIC. With everything being electronically controlled ( brakes, throttle, air bags, crash avoidance etc etc) who knows what it will do with a reset.
I said to Volvo head office that they (volvo) get one chance at risking my life and they have had it. They said they have never had a volvo do what mine is doing ( Cause im special i know

) and they are just following policy and procedure to run a soft ware update to the major components of the ecu/s and they are "hoping" that this will fox my issue. HOPING!!! ??? You hope that my life wont be in any more danger....WTF. So i said if it happens again i WILL NOT accept the car back and they are to find me a new car.
So yeh just another fucking normal sunny day in Daniel land.........
