Great stuff!

(I've just read this whole build thread over the last two days. Great work beating that R35 GTR at roll racing!)

The only thing that remains from the first setup is the grimspeed 3 port boost controller now.

Chassis is now a 2014 gt86
Gearbox is now a bmw Gs7 dct
Turbo is now a turbosmart 6870 reverse rotation
Cams are now RCM 278s
It goes on like that.
Kinda flush. Fitment is something. ADM as F*ck.

DCT, or maybe a Bosch 9spd was something Matt was touting ages ago for his Foz, but you’ve done it?
What’s up with FA/FB? Are they cursed?

Nothing inherently wrong with fa/FB, I just have the built EJ. It also happens to have w20c heads which, even without the head work they have, are awesome. I dont feel im losing out too much, dual AVCS ect. The use of the EJ is causing a lot of hurt in the gt86/brz community but that is to be expected.
People also assume bolting a dct to a motor is easy. It isnt, and it was quite the engineering feat. I got an engineering/race car building firm in Stockholm Sweden to do it.
Im sort of now married to something that take that bellhousing now, so I'm trying with the idea of building up an ez30 then running an eaton 2650 on it. Im sure you recall how much I dislike centrifugal superchargers on ez30s.

EDIT: is a gs7 out of an m4. It's native to a 4.11 diff which is the ratio in the 86. First will be very short so I might just be a second gear launch.

Because the m4 runs larger diameter rim tyre combo?
Tub the 86 to get closer? :P
Sweden makes sense since they have long winters for involved projects and high speed circuit skids culture in summer ;)
I did not remember that, I had thought centrifugal suited ez for the later boost delivery, I guess that’s irrelevant on a built motor?
