I'd really like a set of 18 x 9 +42 takuma RSO's, and i plan on putting the car on TEIN S tech springs which will lower it a tad, will i need to roll the guards or should i go with the 8" instead?

18x8's will require less work. I've got 18x8 +42 on my wagon if you want to have a look

Just had a look at your photos, fit looks really nice.
By "less work" does that mean you still had to roll the guards a bit?

I haven't rolled the guards on mine, although i do plan on doing it at some stage.
at standard height, you wont need to worry about it, if you plan on going lower you might have to get them rolled when the time comes.

I probably should add too, im still using 215/45/18 tyres which are stretching a little bit, with wider tyres to you definitely need to roll your guards

when its time ill probably be looking at getting 19's :)

but if i were to keep these, which i think i will for some time, ill be going 235/35/18's
they are cheaper/easier to find as they are a commodore spec tyre

I'm also a fan of the RST and RSV's. This is going to be a tough choice...
Will definitely need a trip to Takuma

So, nek minnet. Here I am at the takuma head office waiting for my rst's to be put on the car with tyres. $1500 package.
Probably the most spontaneous thing I've done in a while.

Went with 18's with 235.
Sits perfectly offset wise. Couldn't be happier.

Now I'm sitting in beautiful Melbourne city traffic on the way home. Will post pics in the next few hours
