Shut the phuck up phaggot it looks and sounds better. Plus he didn't say he was looking for a mental set-up, the Tomei is a good improvement on what he already has...and last time I checked the prices have come down to around $1,700

gtx3071r at 280-290kw is pretty much out of breathing space....unless you put a bigger rear housing for bit more top end...

Blouch 1.5 dom XTR is also a consideration....

in the end its where you want your power band to be? and what the car will be used for majority of the time....my 2 cents

You guys are hilarious!! Turbo choices always create sooooo many arguments, and at the moment I'm happy to hear them all.

My car is not daily driven, it comes out on sunny Fridays, and weekends. It's not stuck in traffic very often, and needs to be respectable on the circuit AND the strip. I don't want a built motor since she's only 36000kms old (yes low!) so was thinking along the lines of a Gt28...

My ambition and capability both outstrip yours 2 to 1. My english; 3 to 1.

Anyway Stu a good idea is to sit passenger (or driver if you are fortunate enough) in other 2.5 GT-Bs with different turbo set-ups to see which you prefer

A Garage 88 GT3071r with right supporting mods (FMIC, injectors, fuel pump) etc have gotten good results on unopened engines still on 98 too.

Already got the bigger Aeromotive fuel pump installed, and thinking of ID 1000s to match the turbo. Can't really go E85 since there's only two places in the ACT that sell it.
