That was as hard as i could launch it. Side stepping the clutch at 5500-6000rpm...just the stiff sidewall of the a048s would cause it so spin then slingshot off. It was heaps of fun. I learned something too with the fuel levels.

Should be able to get a 1.8 60fter? Post a slip (curious about your halfway speed)?

Launching with 300 at all 4 wheels is fun! When that tyre grips...I did it against a big bike the other day, as we were dead even once moving. Decided I'll use my advantage and launch - managed a perfect launch, left the bike standing still. He didn't bother racing after that and I drove like a grandma for a while, whilst pondering the joys of subaru and the meaning of life.

Solid.

What clutch do you run? Haven't had the guts to sidestep in mine yet.

Needs more power

With the power it makes on a dyno it should be doing well over 120mph. It has consistently run 117mph* with 270, 315 and 340+ kw at the wheels. So who knows. Needs better driver or better weather conditions.

*115.9mph at 12 degrees in winter (270kw), 116.8 (315kw)(not 117 as I advised earlier at powercruise at 18 degrees in Spring)

Looks like you're trying to stare down the timing board in this one.

Car looks good on those photos. Liking the lines behind the tyres. I think the look is one of looking anywhere by the tacho as I drop the clutch and hold on.

Wastegate (nick) took some great slow motion footage which clearly shows a gearchange before 60'. Goes a long way to explaining why it is hard to launch. I am tempted to try 2nd off the line.
